does anyone know of any online chats for recovering nurses

I am a recovering nurse and do not like going to 12 step programs. i have been clean for 2 and a half years but I would like to go to meetings I do not have a car so I would like to do it on line. does anybody know of any sights that do this.

I just wanted to add that I have no problem with NA I just don't follow the steps.I just believe that I can do it and i do have power over narcotics I either choose to do them or not choose to do them. I feel the 12 steps are to negative and I am staying clean with a very positive attitude. I must be doing something right it has been 2 and a half years since my last use.

There is an online group called EarthGroup NA. It is not a strictly nurse/health care group. It is NA, which utilizes the 12 step approach. There are meetings on line 3 times a week, but you can access it 24 hours 365 days a year. I hope this helps.

I have not heard of a monitoring program yet that accepts online meetings/Chats in lieu of the real thing - no one to sign your card -
I once tried to start a chat for recovering nurses but not enough interest was there. Plus most of those venues are not about recovery more about
b)*&^ing about the bon demands etc....

There are on-line recovery chats though - just use google and you'll find them
