Board Monitoring in TX

Hi,

I have been monitored now for 7 months in TX and it really hasn't been hard for any of you that are facing stipulations. I was also in TPAPN over 10 years ago, and being monitored by the board, in my opinion is so much easier. I have been sober for 3 years now, and knew I would die if I didn't get help. My case stayed active at the board for almost 5 years before it was settled, and the not knowing was harder by far, than the stipulations itself. If any one has any questions for me, pls feel free to ask. Also, if anyone needs a fantastic attorney in Austin, I will be glad to give you the name of mine!

Re: Board Monitoring in TX

That sounds like a great program in NY we have a program called the professional assistance program (PAP) they helped me get my license back with stipulations and close monitoring including urine screenings. I believe that this program helped me to stay clean because I needed close monitoring at the time. it started a 4 screenings a month and is now down to two. i has been a year and a half since I hooked up with them but it has been 2 and a half years since i used drugs.I was fortunate and i voluntarily handed in my LPN license.I recommend anybody who has this problem to contact their state to see if they have this program.

I also am in TX and will be undergoing monitoring. I have many questions. I am new to this forum so do not know how to get a message directly to you. Please let me know how to get a hold of you.

Thank you!
