| \'mandatory\' physical exams? Looking for information: I'm an Educator trying to find ways to reduce the student costs for nursing school and wanted to know if 'self-reporting' physicals are acceptable, or if MD/Practitioner physicals are mandatory? (College is in Florida) |

When the purpose of the physical is to determine if the person is physically able to perform the functions required in clinicals, I don't see how "self reporting" could be acceptable. There is too much at risk if they are not honest. Andrew Lopez, RN http://www.4nursing.com |
