Hi everyone,

I just got lucky in the admissions lottery for the RN program at DeAnza College in Cupertino,CA (home of Apple Computer HQ). I start nursing school in Sept. and will graduate in 6/08. Woo-Hoooo!

This will be my second career. I have a BS in Physics and used to work in the aerospace industry. That career really sucked, so I decided to become a nurse because I like helping people. I completed the prereqs with a 3.52 GPA, and did the admissions lottery twice.

I'm trying to find some scholarships/grants to apply for. Anyone know any good websites or books that list these?

I've also heard of people who are starting nursing school making deals with a local hospital where if they give you X dollars, you'll agree to work for them after graduation for Y years. How does one go about doing this?
