Also does anyone know a website or organization that can give good advice on who pays what and where in emergency nursing? i have seen many sites and the salaries listed vary wildy-- some of the information is quite old as well. any help is appreciated. thanx fellas |

| Re: NCLEX and salary The NCLEX is usually administered by national testing organization, but is not a national test. Each state can request specific content to meet thier states legal requirements. However with that being said, most states will honor your NCLEX results if you are licensed in that state, and are in good standing. The process is called Licesure by endorsement. Best bet is to be sure you are going to school at an accredited school (as this will be reviewed also), and make sure you take your NCLEX in the state you went to school. May sound like a no brainer, but others have graduated, left the state, and then tested. This makes transfering your license in the future much harder. Hope that helps. |
