| Life as a RN? Hi everyone, I'm interest in learning what a daily life of a RN is like. For example, what are your hours at work? What do you do at work? etc... Thanks, -Vincent |

| Re: Life as a RN? Nursing is such a varied profession that you will get a different answer from every nurse. I am an emergency dept nurse in a small rural hospital. My hours are 7a-7p. I show up at 6:30 and usually don't get out until 8p. Emergency work isn't as glamorous as the public thinks. There are 2 words that most of our patients don't understand.....Doctor's Office. Every job has its challenges and frustrations, but I can honestly say that I love being a nurse. |
