• Tax-free advantage - Reduced tax program offered by the IRS if you are working 50+ miles of your permanent residence. Approximately 40% of your income is untaxed - this puts significantly more income in your pocket!
• 100% paid, private and fully furnished apartments or condos including utilities OR a generous housing subsidy ($1300-$2500/month, tax-free)
• First day major medical insurance (dental and vision available also)– United Healthcare PPO (Health Insurance Quotes for Medical Insurance, from United Healthcare) for just $15/week pre-tax
• Insurance coverage between assignments for up to 2 weeks!
• 401K loyalty program – eligible after completion of one 13-week assignment. SMUSA will match your contributions up to 2% with no vesting period.

• Round-trip travel expense reimbursement - $250 added to first and $250 added to last check - no forms to fill out, whether you go 60 miles or 1500 miles! Tax-free (You will also get this for every 13 week extension!)
• License reimbursement – 100% in second check
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• Professional malpractice and liability insurance coverage
• Up to $2000 referral bonus ($250 per 13-week assignment completed, up to $2000)
• Completion bonuses (up to $6000 at some hospitals!) with no payroll taxes deducted!
• If you choose to take a permanent position at a hospital, we do not charge the hospital a “buy-out fee” as other companies do.
• Customized assignment locating service: Most companies simply just look at hospitals' posted opportunities when searching for travel assignments. Our Staffing Specialists take a proactive approach and can leverage our relationships within hospitals nationwide and actually create new travel opportunities for our clients. This service is invaluable to those travelers who are seeking assignments in often areas which are often difficult to staff.
