| Is there sports medicine nursing anywhere? I am trying to find a postion that combines sports with nursing. I am going for my BSN and I was wondering if there are any programs that I could join to or something or other to make my interest into a careeer? |

| Re: Is there sports medicine nursing anywhere? This is the beauty of the nursing profession, it is extremely versitile and flexible. If you can not find a program then find a sports medicine physician that you can partner up with.  In some states there is an BSN/physician collaborative agreement which allows BSN to act on the physicians behalf in certain situations  I have also heard of Advance Practice Nurses who work with Nascar drivers measuring their carbon-monoxide levels and giving education regarding carbon-monoxide and performace  I wish you good luck and God speed in your professional choice  |

| Re: Is there sports medicine nursing anywhere? Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute, Jacksonville, Fla. Dr Lucie recently did my sons knee. They do a lot of NFL players. Official sports docs for the Jacksonville Jaguars. |
