small question

My 24 yr old boyfriend has been having neck pain(hurts to turn from side to side) off and on for 3 weeks, and he won't see a doctor. Should he be concerned, or I'm I worried for no reason?

Re: small question

I'm not even a nurse yet, but I would be concerned if it was me. I'm a firm believer that there are certain areas we ned to be concerned with. And the neck is one. Better to be safe than sorry. Convince him to go get it checked. If it turns out to be nothing, no problem, but if u catch something serious early, you will be soo much better for it.

Have a great day
Jerry

Re: small question

To ask questions which require a medical opinion is not appropriate for our forum. You will see nurses talk to nurses here which is different. Hope you can understand.

Re: small question

Unfortunately, I am not qualified to give you any medical advice, and any medical advice you recieve from anyone on this site is in no way the opinion of those who own this website.

I can however, tell you that he should see a physician.

Re: small question

Right Aaron! To use this site in lieu of medical treatment is not advised. We need to remember that this is a nursing website for nurses and not to be drawn into giving medical advice when we just want to help. Thanks for the reminder and disclaimer.
