online bsn degrees

I have started to think about a BSN, but don't have time to sit in the traditional classroom. Do online degrees (even the ones that are accredited) have any credibility? I am an ASSOC. grad RN, working as a hospital staff nurse for the last 7 years. Is it worth the effort? I would appreciate any and all input.

Yes they have credibility! LOTS of major hospitals help pay tuition for their nurses to get their online BSN degree through such programs as University of Phoenix Online, and others such as College Network degree programs.

Non classroom programs like the Regents have been around for over 20 years and were widely accepted.. these online programs are even more accepted and are far more convenient for both the nurse taking them as well as their employers.
