    Report gun shot wound?

I need help with this problem immediately. Late last night one of my neighbors knocked on my door repeatedly until I answered. They said they had an emergency. Could I look at someone who had a wound. I did. The wound was a bullet wound. The guy said he got it dealing drugs in another state. I told him I couldn't help--he needed to go to an emergency room. Am I required by law to report this? I am afraid to and afraid not to. Who should I talk to?

If you are a mandatory reporter, Yes! You can loose your license if you do not report.

I agree with shortbus. You have to CYA all the way. That sucks. Good luck!
