Mild Pains in My Abdomin.

I AM PLANNING ON SEEING A DOCTOR IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ANY ADVICE I RECEIVE HERE WILL JUST BE INCIDENTAL TO THAT. But maybe someone here could still give me some advice (or support at the very least ). And I would appreciate advice for what to bring up with the doctor.

A couple of weeks ago I took a large overdose of Tylenol. My father rushed me to the emergency room, and they gave me charcoal along with the antidote for my liver. They gave me blood tests that seemed to come up alright (though admittedly they didn't talk to me too much, I noticed). But ever since then I have had a mild pain in my abdomin. It is often in the middle section of the front, just off to the right a little. Or sometimes it is off to the left in the side and back. Plus, as you can see, it often moves, oddly. I notice it esp. in the evening as I lay down in bed. During the day, I notice little or nothing of it.

I had my blood drawn a couple of days ago. Creatinine was one of the tests the doctor included in the blood work. I am still waiting for the doctor to tell me how the blood test came out. Also, the doctor wants to see me in the near future, as I've said.

Anyways, I guess my liver is probably alright (though I am understandably worried about this too). But what worries me more than anything is my kidneys. I don't know if they ever checked that in the hospital. Could I have damaged my kidneys without knowing it? And what symptoms would indicate this, esp. early on? And also, would the Creatinine test show the doctor if my kidneys were damaged, even slightly? A pharmacist recently told me Tylenol has nothing to do with the kidneys. But I have still been on pins in needles since I noticed this pain, which has been going on for a couple weeks now as I've said. Also poss. significant is the fact that I have a small cyst on my kidneys, according to an ultrasound I took a while back.

As I've said, I would appreciate any advice or support .

Re: Mild Pains in My Abdomin.

Sorry ! I just now read the sticky regarding non-nurses on this forum. Anyways, if the moderator wants to close or delete this thread, I will understand . While it's still here though, does anyone know of any website that dispenses free medical advice and support? I found this website thru a search engine. But the search turned up little else. Sorry again .
