| Re: LPN Supervising an RN? Sure did. Please forgive me I didn't spell remember correctly. Oh now I can't be a nurse. darn, never did have typing. and do have a tendency when I am typing to use poor grammer/spelling. I guess that A in Creative writing and the B in English 101 gets lost on my typing. I guess I am not perfect will have to settle for being an A/B person. LOL |

You really sound like you're losing-it. What you said above has absolutely nothing to do with Rascal's origional post. If he were to come back to look at the posts (without lurking about the other forum first) he would probably think you're nuts. You really ought to go to the Rubber Room Forum and post to your hearts content. I promise to stop by from time to time and check in on you. O_S |

| Re: LPN Supervising an RN? I worked in a LTC facility where there was a LPN as ADON. Didnt take long for her to see the door. She was power hungry too. She even asked me how to get into school so she could become a registered nurse. When she found out that I had to use bedside computers during my clinicals, she freaked. I dont think that a LPN should be an ADON in any setting. I know of LPN's who think because they have 30 years experience that they know more than a RN. Yes, they may have more experience, but they dont have the RN title. Do they get frustrated? Yes they do, but its not my fault because they chose not to return to school. Rascal, glad that ADON was called on her behaviour. She had no right to go over your head. Its not her license on the line if something goes wrong. You know that as a registered nurse, you could have called her on this situation. Glad that she has been "caught" and something has been done. I know its frustrating.... Porcelina |
