my name is sejal patel and right now, i am in highschool. i m in chicago right now. i m thinking of becoming a nurse. i would like to get the inf about what courses should i take so that it could help me in my future. i would like to know what should i do now to be a nurse

All us old nurses are waiting for young people like you to join us.. Whew some of us are tired.. The biggest thing you can do is hurry up... J/K.. I love to hear about young people who want to be nurses..


Take science courses, and math in high school. I don't know what it's called anymore because I graduated HS in ancient times. But take the college track if that's what it's still called these days. Take a language course. I believe Spanish might be your biggest asset in this country for a foreign language. I believe it's the biggest growing segment of our population now..

Plan to go to a 4 year college.. If you decide to go to a 2 year program you will be that much farther ahead.

Talk to your guidence counselor, talk to the local colleges or send for information from one you might be interested in going to.
