I understand your frustration. I would speak with the DON and explain the situation calmly. If they are not interested in assisting you to fix the problem, I would say it's a good idea to go ahead and go. If they empathize with you and are willing to help, go ahead and give your two weeks.
Seriously, it sounds like you are in a bad place anyway. Do whatever is best for you but do not walk out on your shift or miss a one without giving them some fair warning to fill it. There's no reason to jeapordize your license or the safety of your patients...
