| Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I am hoping I can get some advice from someone. A little bit about myself. I graduated nursing school in 1977 and got a BSN. Got licenses in several states -NY, Washington, DC, Maryland, Connecticut, and Florida. Lived in many locations with my husband and children. Worked in hospitals, MICU, medical units and then lastly in home care nursing. In 1993 I moved back to Florida (my Florida license was inactive since 1982) I moved to Florida from Connecticut(where I had my last license) and let my CT license lapse. I have not had an active license since 1993. Now I would like to get my license again. I do not want to take the nursing boards again. I have run a medical practice since 1993 as office manager and know how to function in every capacity in a physician's office. I have not taken many CEU courses but have kept up nursing wise by reading journals and on line articles. What would be my best avenue to get my license back? Thanks. |

| Re: Getting back a RN license Your best bet is to call or visit the website of the board of nursing for your state. Here is a link to state boards of nursing: http://www.board-of-nursing.com/ Good luck! |
