| :frustrated: My name is Heather. I had been in the nursing field for 13 years. Some of it military time/related. I was a proud State of Fl LPN for 5 1/2 yrs. MY mistake - 1st of all - was that i didn't keep my address up to date with boards. 9For some reason i thought it was). So I got an investigation on me - that inturn got FULLY investigated and my licence suspended bfore I realized what happened. None the less, I have not been a nurse for 3 years. In all reality - my heart is broken! Is that pethetic? ALL I am is a nurse. And I want desperately to get my licence back. I looked up my final order, my licence was revoked 02/20/06. And I have NO clue what I'm looking at! The order previous to the revocation, stated 3 CEU classes, and to contact IPN. WHY I did not do this? Taking my career away and being a single mom of 3- the part where I had to pay 500 in restitution, and 2THOSAND in their investigation, wasn't an option.WHAT DO I DO to get my life and licence back? I didnt come up dirty in ANY test. This was all because a nurse I signed off the control cart with (whom signed behind me by the way) AFTR I left my shift...a supposable injection was missing. Her and her 2 CNA friends came up with a story that I gave it to a patient. Here I am. WHAT can I do? Who to call? ALL info would be appreciated! |

| Re: FL IPN...What to do? It sounds like you have done all the right things except get your license back. Keep pressing them and tell them of your finances too. Forgive the people who did this to you... it will only hurt you in the long term.. they probably already forgot....Good Luck...to you and 3 little ones |
