disturbing the peace charge?

After 20 years of being married my wife and I have to divorce. We understand this finally after she called the police and now I face "disturbing the peace" charge. It is hard enough to deal with my sudden life changes, relocating (Getting my own place) and keeping my children as stable and happy as can be. One of my many concerns is that the BRN might decide to revoke my RN secondary to this charge. I recall people having their license revoked for similar charges and want to know if anyone has any advice. The union rep has told my lawyer that this should not be an issue and the BRN just gives me this case by case speal. If anyone has any experience in this I would be so pleased to hear from them.

Best,

Nate
