Desperately seeking RN position in OR Balto/metro

Help;
I'm a RN in Balto., MD. I recently left a center as the only RN for a well known plastic surgeon. I did everyting from initial consultation to peri-operative, recovery, and discharge of patient. I was also Study Coordinatore for 2 study protocols for silicone breast implant studies our center participated in. I left due to irreconcilable differences regarding overtime. Prior to that I worked in the general OR as a RN. I have been under the weather with the flu and then bronchitis/pneumonia so I lost a few weeks scouting for another job. I am not having much luck withthe agency I'm working with as far as placement. Can you find me something short term (per diem) anything to hold me over until a "real" job pans out.

Hello Andrea,

I'd look in the phone book and register with a few agencies while you are jobhunting for a full-time position. There are tons of facilities using agency nurses at the moment. Maybe they'll place you in a facility you'll like.

I've worked agency in the past and often you need to register with two or three at a time to keep busy.
