Daily Medication

I just this morning took my regular dose of prozac, which is 3 20mg capsules. I then a couple hours later forgot that I took it and took them again. Should I be concerned and what side effect may I anticipate from this?

Re: Daily Medication

I'm just hoping the side effect to prozac isn't not remembering. But not remembering could help some people be calm.. Thoughts to ponder????

Re: Daily Medication

OK I did some research, You can take prozac on a weekly prescription, 60 mg is not and over dose, This med has a long half life. There have been deaths from overdose but usually with much larger doses than you had. There are many other factors that play into it. Other medications a person may be on may effect this medicine. I believe you should contact your Dr. and tell him. You could even call poison control. Your Dr can tell you if you need to skip a dose now or not. My advice is call your Dr.
