Arrhythmias

Can anyone put the difference between atrial arrhythmias and ventricular arrhythmias into easy terms for me. I could really use some help, thanks

Re: Arrhythmias

With and atrial arrhythmia, you generally have a NARROW complex and the rate , as in atrial fib or atrial flutter will be irregular and varies between fast or slow depending on control with medication. Most ventricular arrhythmias, such as VTach, PVC's...the QRS is WIDE beyond the normal parameters. There are certainly exceptions to these rules depending on which arrhythmia, but this holds true for many cases.
