| any advice or suggestions I just have a question for anyone who has had any disciplinary action taken against their license. I am currently coming to the end of a 6 month suspension and I am in the process of applying for reinstatement. I am interested in if anyone migh have any idea about how hard it is going to be for me to get a job once I get my license back. I do plan to be as open and honest as I can about this because to do definately feel that honest is the best policy. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. aprilangel01 |

| Re: any advice or suggestions Hi April...I agree with you that honesty is the best way to go in this situation. I do not know how hard it will be for you to get a job but I just wanted to encourage you to keep trying even if it will not come easy. Also, when you have the interview and the recruiter brings up the topic, I would acknowledge my mistake (if there was one) and take full responsibility for my actions. I would also try and get a refresher course or something similar (if possible) on the topic of the mistake -- for example if I made a drug mistake I would take a mini pharm. course ...to show that I am recognizing my weak area and working to improve it. This is also helpful if they ask you how are you going to avoid making the same mistake the next time...Best of luck! |
