abd. injury

Hi, I injurd myself yesterday at work, I was caught between two large objects and slightly crushed between my kidney and lower abd. I see no bruising and no bleeding when I go to the bathroom. I'm in some pain, but thats to be expected. However today I did go though a period of nausia and sweats. My question is, would injury be evident visualy one way or the other as far as blood..Should I just give it time and see what happens..?

Re: abd. injury

SEE your doctor. Many times you may not see blood in urine. If it has hemalized, many times the only way is to use a test strip to test for the blood. One rule to remember is I things ant worken right, SEE YOUR DOCTOR. It is hard to assess people over the Internet.

Re: abd. injury

how about ruptured spleen, liver laceration, torn diaphram..

Hard to assess over the phone too had to tell a women who called 10 times yeaterday (frequent flyer) look I can't see over the phone where the blood is coming from over the phone.. I wanted to say do you have a camera phone? take a picture of it and send it in ...but sure enough this time would be the time something was wrong and she would have stayed home...she came in was fine as usual doc discharged her early this morning after breakfast but she had to wait til 5pm for a ride home ...will see her again by tuesday
