Mood:   | What is the HESI test? Some basic information on the test: The admission test has shown to be an effective tool for predicting overall success in nursing programs. The HESI A2 is a timed, computerized test that consists of seven academic exams: reading comprehension, vocabulary and general knowledge, grammar, basic math skills, biology, chemistry and anatomy and physiology. The test also has a learning style/personal profile assessment. The time limit may vary, however, the average time most examinees take for completing the entire exam is two and a half to three hours. This can vary depending on your reading speed and amount of time to answer questions and if you take only the required sections or the entire exam. Once you are in school, other tests you may/will encounter during school include the following: Fundamentals of Nursing Psych/Mental Health Maternity Principles of Care of the Child Pharmacology The E2 Exit Exam is set up like the NCLEX test. |
