University Nursing Instructor??

Hello,

It's me again! I love this forum and thank God for it because it has truly been a blessing to me! I actually have a chance to speak to nurses and nursing students.
(" speak"- not really but I get to express my concerns!)

Anyway, I'd like a little advice on a issue!
I'd like to ,one day, become a nursing instructor.
Why? Because A: I love health, and the anatomy and physiology of the body and B: I love to teach!

So hey, I think it's a fair assessment to say that I'd be a Nursing Instructor teacher! At the present time, I am finishing my pre-requisites to the nursing program at my school, but I'd still like to start planning now!

How do I go about becoming a Nursing Instructor?
DoI plan to get my MSN or do I need a master's in Education or do I need to double major and get my Bachelor's in Education and Nursing?

What would be the best path in your opinions????

I know this post won't help you, but I wanted to say we can look into that a little for you. Also, as of now, you can "Speak" with nurses with the new chat software that is up and running.

And I like your little panel generater guy. Keep using them. They're fun.

Personal experience (I taught @ a junior college in FL) tells me that your masters speciality doesn;t count as much as having the masters. Nursing masters is, just my personal opinion, better....have more nursing backround. Teh masters is the essential part. Hope this helps,
Bonnie
