| summer externship / internship experiences I am interested in hearing from other students about their summer externship experiences.. I've been researching the different hospitals' websites for info about their programs... but I really want to hear from students themselves what they thought of the program and how much stuff / what kind of things they got to do. Also would like to know the general application deadline. Really interested in MGH's program if there's anyone out there that did that one, but would like to hear about any program really.. any location is OK. Thanks!!! |

Mood:  | Re: summer externship / internship experiences Hi, I participate in a nursing externship in Texas. We are PRN so at times we work alot and others maybe not for a few weeks. I do all my "time" in Preop and Stage II PACU. This is because this is the area I plan on working when I graduate. I really like it, I get to practice my assessment, IV skills ect. I am currently looking at different locations in Texas that offers internship for GN/RN and what they have to offer. Hope this helps. |
