Starting out

Greetings,

My name is Mr. Starling. I have served in the Marines for 9 years, worked for the DOD, work with DOD contractors, and seem to think that this is not what I want to do. (all in supply logistics)

I have made up my mind that I will go into nursing. (2yr degree). I went to school online, but found out that this is not for me (online school). I want to attend one of these schools:

http://dukehealth1.org/watts/index.asp
http://www.cravencc.edu/educational/nursing2007.cfm
http://www.carteret.edu/education/ac...n/rn_index.htm

... I dont know which school to attend because I dont know where I will be living. Plus I need to brush up on some Basic education needs. (I am only 34, but have not seen a "real" classroom in .....whoa!!!! years.)

So want I want to do is finish this first year at Park Univerity (online) and then try to apply at one of the nuring programs...thoughts or/and comments?

Re: Starting out

depending on where you live...sounds like you live around the jacksonville area...I have a friend who is attending james sprunt to get her RN...I know for sure that the tuition is pretty cheap a that school and from what she says she didn't wait too long to get in. Best of luck!
