| Pharmacology Tips ****o everyone. I have to do pharmacology before entering the nursing class. Does anyone have any tips? Many say they have never heard of doing pharmacology first so I think we are the only ones that require it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Re: Pharmacology Tips In my nursing program pharmacoloy was a suggested prerequisite because it would be helpful in clinicals which started in the first semester. I think it would be helpful for you to take as Pharmacology can be a big stumblig block for a lot of students. My school had a text book called Pharmacoloy Made Incredibly Easy. Youy could proably find it on the net. It's a simple approach to drugs and their applications side effects etc based on neumonics and other memory cues. Hope this helps |

|  Re: Pharmacology Tips I'm sorry it was Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy Available from I Can Publishing - They also have an NCLEX Book that's pretty good. Personally I used three NCLEX Prep Books and took and NCLEX Prep weekend seminar. In Total I reviewed about 5000 questions and answers in the two months prior to taking my exam. The two days before the test I didn't study, I relaxed ate right a slept well - then took the test on the third day. Passed on the first try.
