| ok i have a question <font color="blue"> <font face="ok i was wondering, i deffinetly want to be an RN for the NICU, and right now i have to get my diploma (my health caused me to have to miss a lot of school and they unenrolled me from school) as im going to be doing very soon, and i was wondering what all i need to do to become an RN for the NICU. | Re: ok i have a question get your license and then apply to a unit that has a GREAT orientation/preceptorship program....you may be required to have some general experience before you can get into a speciality...it depends upon the facility and how hard up they are for staff |

| Re: ok i have a question I'm currently working as an RN in the NICU. ALl you have to do is graduate from school, get your license, and find openings in the NICU. Most places (in California at least) don't require any other experience because most places have New Grad programs. |
