How many of us out there are over 35?

Hi, I just started my second semester in the ADN program at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid, OK. So far it is a real challenge and seems to be building in intensity. Someone please tell me that it gets easier after the second semester! Whew!, Oh and I am a 46 y.o. retired FF.

Re: How many of us out there are over 35?

Well, Hi! I'll hit the big five-Oh this coming May. I started the ADN program fall 2003 and (God Willing! LOL) will get pinned May 2005. And, yes, I do frequently wonder "What he heck was I thinking??!!" I love it, but find myself absolutely spazzing on tests, so stay stressed all the time. But I'm so blessed to be able to be a full-time student (fabulous husband thing... :~)) Of 93 students at the beginning of last fall, we're now down to 49. I'm still one of the 49. And am just taking from 1 semester to the next.

Kudos!! I have been nursing for 27yrs. and just returned for my bachelor's degree. You are so correct...one semester at a time. It will pass and you will be a nurse! Keep it up and let us know if you need to vent, LOL!!
