Help a student find some info...

(I'd first like to start my post by saying" thank you" to the members that responded to me the other day; your words truly meant a great deal to me!)
Thanks!!

Nurses, ( and nurse students)

I would like to get some information regarding the professions of Nurse Educator, Lactation Consultant, and Lamaze-Childbirth Educator for the state of North Carolina.

I am currently preparing a project that I must research different career paths for myself as a nurse and these are some of the venues that I have decided to follow because they were the most interesting to me.
The problem is where I have researched, there is either unrelated material or it is not detailed enough.( meaning that the occupation is listed but there is no information about it.)

So please(if you have the time and your heart is willing), I would like any suggestions as to where I might find information or links where I will be able to research on my own!

Again thank you for your cooperation!!!

as far as that goes, I know....nothing. I'd do a yahoo or google search with those terms and see what comes up. I'm sure someone here can help you though.

Re: Help a student find some info...

I was certified as a childbirth educator many moons ago through the Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan New York. They're a fantastic group of dedicated educators who may be able to provide you with a link in North Carolina. Also try La Leche League International. Good Luck!
