Is everyone ready for school to start up for the fall? Lol, I really could use just one more month of summer break![]()

I don't think anyone is ever 'ready' for school.....![]()
I work in a clinic and everyone is NOT ready for school. School for us starts monday and I have children coming in for physicals and shots. I had a 5 year old come in today that has only had 1 Hep-B four years ago, now the child has to start all over again and the mom told me - Give her what ever it takes for her to start school, I'm thinking boy this mom needs alot of teaching. the sad thing is this is not the only child I've seen in this boat.
Lol, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that way. I'm starting my first semester of nursing school here on Monday..... As for not being ready, lol, we're starting a new curriculum and I have no idea what is gonna be going on. I'm only going to be taking 7 hrs of nursing courses, but one class is gonna be a six credit course. I'm really wondering what that is all about: "Foundations of Nursing." As far as I can guess, it's gonna be a more indepth version of one of our pre-nursing classes: vitals, linen changing, pt feeding, and other stuff like that. I don't even know if we're going to be starting clinicals this semester. I guess I'm gonna really be surprised, I still haven't went out to get my scrubs and shoes yet.
I doubt that many will say being a procrastinator is a good trait for a nursing student, but I can't wait to see what happensEven if all the projects around the house I'm dropping on Sun have to wait til Christmas

Oh, I hear what Sunflower says...there is THAT aspect, also. So many wait until the last minute for shots and all. There can be reasons for that, though.
As for your 6 credit course, I am sure you'll go over more than vitals, feeding and bed making!
