I attended Walters State Community College in Morristown, TN. I attended part-time for 5 years and got accepted to clinicals during 6th year. It was really tough in the clinicals, exspecially at that time i had gone through a divorce and was raising 3 children on my own. It seemed that everyone i knew in my class was moving back home with their parents to get help to get through Nursing school. It was eat, sleep and breath Nursing non-stop. I almost made it through the first year of clinicals, but saw it was hurting my children so i ended up having to drop out. It is now 6 years later and I am going back, but this time i am not going to RN school but, LPN school. I found out last year that I could of taken the Boards for LPN Licensure the year when i dropped out, but nobody told me i could at that time. This really makes me upset, i feel like i am starting all over again (uuhhgg!)I am now trying to study for the N.E.T exam and i am a little nervous. I sure would appreciate some tips. How is the N.E.T exam ? I am older now 41 and hope i can get through this, doesn't seem that my memory is as good as it use to be. I also heard that my classes i took are good for 10 years hope i can do this before my classes go bad, i want to continue to RN school after LPN school. Has anyone here gone through this before? Thank You for any help
