| Nitroglycerin Drips On a Tele Unit Hi, I'm working on a PI Project and am trying to get some information on Nitroglycerin Drips being on Tele Units. Currently the hospital I work at requires Tridil drips to be in ICU. We want to work on the tele unit being able to take and titrate/manage patients on tridil drips. I would appreciate any feedback anyone might have. Does anyone work on a tele unit that titrates tridil? Please give me feedback. Thanks Paula |

| Re: Nitroglycerin Drips On a Tele Unit I have worked in several hospitals in Georgia & NC, generally we have nitro drips on the cardiac units and can titrate up to 50mcg before they need to be moved to the unit. Of course I have also worked in small (40-50) bed rural hospitals which the floors have monitors but the ICU watches them and in that case ALL drips need to be in the unit because the nurses are generally med-surg with little or no experience in cardiac drips. Hope the info helps. Joany |
