PICC Lines

Hello everyone.
I have a question that I truely do not know. Do PICC infiltrate?

Thanks in advance.

Re: PICC Lines

Any line, whether it's an IV, PICC, other central line, or Port can infiltrate, although it's not nearly as common as it is with peripheral IV's. Just make sure to assess the site regularly.
