|  Mother/Baby Couplets Just wondering how many of you do Mother/Baby Couplet nursing and if so, what are the norms for assignments? Also, do you have a staffed nursery?  |

| Re: Mother/Baby Couplets The hospital I worked per diem at that did couplet usually had 3-4 pairs but if baby was in NICU you just had mom and NICU staff took care of baby. There is a nursery that's staffed if mom wants the baby in the nursery and that staff makes sure baby testing is done, gets them ready for circ etc there are a couple of techs and a nurse in the nursery.
