VA Hospitals - seeking advice

Hi - I have been in nursing over 20 years. I am seeking a facility that I can both earn a decent wage and stay there for several years. I found postings for the VA on the internet that look like a good match for me but would appreciate input from others prior to actually making application. Can anyone tell me about the day to day atmosphere, schedules, dress code, teamwork, nurse patient ratios, training/continuing ed etc??? Thanks!
