LVN to BSN

Just wondering if anyone else is trying this?
I did read into what some people thought of this program (well after I was into all this) and found many negative feedback.
Anyone succeeding? Having difficulties? I just want to hear some updates.
I myself am having a difficult time with the program due to discipline.... I cant stick to schedule without some sort of authority over me.

I did the LPN-BSN bridge program, but waaaay East of you. Yeah, you need dicipline, and lots of it: I worked FT and attended school FT the last 2 semesters (tuition was a bee-yatch).

If you want something bad enough......you'll do it.

Re: LVN to BSN

its so comforting knowing someone who went through this.
How long did it take you to accomplish this with working FT and school?
Family too?

Re: LVN to BSN

Let's see......about 2 years part time, and 1 year (2 semesters) FT. I knew going in that the last 2 semesters were FT ONLY (classes taken concurrently), so I worked a whole lot when/if I could.

Trust me, my husband had a frazzled wife on hand, but.....we got through it.

Maybe! You are thinking pretty good on the working part-time bit. Also, I am not sure how long of a wait you'll have getting into the clinical portion of class, so......

Keep us posted on things, ok?
