hi im new to this website..but not nursing. i am curently getting prepared to take my NCLEX PN exam..anyways..you needed advice..i dont really have any on getting into the program..i have some for when ur in it tho. heres some important ones: always read your textbooks/outlines and master it..then try to apply what you learned when you get to clinicals. Always ask questions if you need to. nursing is not just plain black and white..you will always have to think outside of the box and do it well for the benefit of the patient. Studying is key to passing..so find a place you know you wont be distracted..and get to work. Take notes during a lecture and use highlighters if they help. always try to test yourself on what youve learned..practice makes perfect so keep trying. study groups help some people..its good to get information in different ways. Stay active in class..meaning participate in answering questions, going up to the board, it will help you more in the long run. ummmm..that might be it for now..oh yeah..after a final or exam..relax..for a bit..you gotta give yourself a little break..but not so much to where you cant get back in to focus mode.. ok..well i hope i helped you out a little bit..good luck in getting in..and good luck with staying in... | |
