| Hello and Help! transfer state licensure Hi I am an LPN in Oregon and am looking to move to Arizona. How can I get my licence to work in Arizona? Do I have to retake the NCLEX? I read on the ASBN site that if you are from a particular state, your licence can transfer. Unfortuantly Oregon is not one of these states. So....what the heck is the next step? Is there a number I can contact? Thank you! |

No, you do NOT have to re-take the NCLEX. Please be sure to follow the steps mentioned. 'Cat' | |

| Re: Hello and Help! transfer state licensure you apply to that state nursing state board for endorsement license-- to be added to your license allowing you to work in that specific state--each state have their own endorsement license fees that you have to pay --from as low as $75 for GA --to over $200 for NY--the process can take from 4-8 weeks--because they have to verify your present license, etc. |
