| Going into the LPN program Hi everyone! I have just been accepted into the LPN program. Even though this is a life long dream for me. I was just wondering if anyone is willing to offer advice on the dos and don'ts of the program. I'm just so nervous andat the same time curious as to what to expect. I have been a CNA for the past 4 years, but this is going to be totally different. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. |

| Junior Member | Re: Going into the LPN program Congratulations! I have been an LPN for 7 years now. I would recommend that you got the NCLEX book for LPN and work on that through out your year. It has sample questions like they give you when you sit for the boards. Good luck! |

| Administrator | Re: Going into the LPN program Hi mrs_pookie! Consider the career change as a 'next step' in nursing. You'll learn some of the 'why's and how's' behind your CNA practice. Yes, it'll be different, but it IS worth it....and we'll be here to listen. Stop by often, hear? 'Cat' |

| Re: Going into the LPN program Do: Have fun and learn alot, and dont be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Don't: get frustrated, or lose that spark that made you love nursing in the first place.
