I have always been an advocate of Hospice care, and cringe when those 'less informed' start in on that Hospice hastens death, etc. This article is pretty good, and answers quite a few quetions/clears up many misconceptions about Hospice. I'm currently working as a CHPNA (Certfied Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant-nationally certified), while working towards my RN degree. Many people in the medical field do not realize what Hospice is, thanks for taking the time to educate  Cindy |
