    A New C.N.A.

Hi. I just graduated from the C.N.A. program in Bellingham, WA. I now work at an extended care facility full-time and have noticed a decline in my health. I have severe back pain, headaches, and exhaustion. What can I do, as a C.N.A., to take care of these things?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Taking good care of yourself can help with exhaustion & back pain. Make sure you are exercising and getting enough sleep. Use proper body mechanics when you are working & lifting patients, and wear shoes that have good arch support.

Hi! Have you felt better? I hope so and that the advice helped because I'll be completing a course in January and I'd like to avoid those problems if possible!
