5. Have a good cry with a family member.

1. Encourage staff to care and support new members and never stop.
2. Do not complain unless you have a viable solution
3. No clicks, the unit is a team.
4. An admin. that will say thank you and mean it.
5. Train, teach new nurses. Lets stop tossing them out of the nest to let them crash or fly. Developing a nurses attitude about nursing starts in the first 6 months.

just my opinion and every body has one

2.Helping paitients and their families understand their medical condition and answering their questions.
3. Facilitating a new or inexperienced nurse in the transition from student to staff nurse.
4. Working with other nurses, intellegent, caring people who do their best to care for the sick and dying.
5. Learning, always new concepts and material to keep up on.

1. Administrators who have no idea what the real work world is like.
2. Physicians who think they are infallable.
3. Physicians who lie, out right to families.
4. Physicians who withhold information from patients.
5. Red tape that ties the hands of the nurse at the patient's expense.
