How much is the pay in the Dallas or Houston area?

Hi, I live in the Chicago area and want to relocate to Dallas or Houston, Tx. I have 13 yrs. telemetry experience and med-surg, radiology-IR, experience as well. I make 38$/hr with Overtime considered anytime I work over 8hrs in one day even if my total hrs per week are less than 40.
I do work for a State hospital and am in a Union.
Would any hospital in Dallas or Houston pay me as much as I am making now, or more possibly?

I have 11 years experience and my base working Two Day Alternative will be 32 an hour. This is with full benefits and not counting shift diff for weekends/evening or night.

okey heres what i got i was in houston jan. 15,16 for interviews with st. lukes medical center, memorial hermann sugar land and methodist sugar land. I have 6 years rn experience abroad and 3 years US, they considered 3 years credit for my overseas experience. Memorial hermann sugar land 32.50, methodist sugar land 30.70, st. lukes TMC 33.53 and this are all medsurg floor application. Methodist hired me right after interview but the offer was too low I asked them to give me more time and they told me i could shop around i have until today, monday to confirm with them. on the other hand, st. lukes told me to wait till today, monday for the confirmation which i would hope everything goes well st lukes also had the better night diff at 4.40. Of all the hospitals i visited i liked the methodist sugar land the most its brand new, very upscale look, nice environment with 1:4 nurse-pt ratio however i was not convinced with the pay but if st. lukes declines my aplication id be joining methodist sugar land.

I really loved living and working in the Houston area. I'm not from that area but I stand by the fact Texans will be some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. (I did an assignment at ben taub in texas medical center) Great pay with lower cost of living, although I don't think they have unions there.

Texas has good pay, low cost of living and a lot of inexpensive but very nice golf courses. With only a little judicious OT, I make 6 figures a year. And just to clarify that is all to the left of the decimal point. And have done so for a dozen years or so.
