I received this e-mail from a Medi-Smart user today and I wanted to get LTC Nurses involved in the appropriate answer so am posting it here so you all can help the author out...

Here's her situation-

Please tell me what the nurses responsibility is re 30 day medical summaries. I work in a long term medical facility and as a night nurse we are expected to check the orders for the 30 day summary and to do v/s on the drs. H&P. When the MD comes in the following day he or she basically just signs off the new orders.
