Question Skin Care Questions

I have an unusual skin care question, maybe some of you have heard of using this before. I am a Charge Nurse on a Hospice inpatient unit and we frequently have patients with very malodorous wounds that obviously are not going to heal. One of our nurses used to work on a burn unit years ago and said that they would put Dreft laundry detergent on the wounds to keep the odor down (we frequently use Flagyl, although not always with great success). Has anyone ever done this/heard of this/know of any research articles to back this up?? Thanks for your help!

Re: Skin Care Questions

Have heard of the Flagyl, crushed....but not Dreft. I am trying to wrack my brain to help. What about Panafil? i know it is a debrider, but something with chlorophyll sounds right to me.
