Re: new to posts

Wow brwthru, wound care is quite the specialty!!! I worked on a wound care unit for 1 1/2 years and treatments changed monthly. We had a wound care RN specialist and we were constantly trying out new products. I would suggest subscribing to a wound care journal for the latest info. Of course, I'm sure you are using whatever products your institution is stocking, but hopefully you are able to make suggestions. Many companies are more than willing to come out and give seminars and products to promote theirs -- they bring out a lot of good teaching materials with them. Good luck. There is nothing more satisfying than healing terrible wounds. Rose
