Question Where to stay in CA?

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of taking a travel nursing job in either San Jose (Santa Teresa) or Sacramento. Does anyone have any information on good apartments in the areas? Or bad ones to avoid? They are Kaiser hospitals, I know that much. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Where to stay in CA?

For Sacramento depending where you work my apartment complex is great and has several other travelers here. It's Stonebridge apartments in the Greenhaven/Pocket area. No lease, it's month to month, there are stackable washer and dryer in the units, mostly quiet complex, management is easy to work with, rent is reasonable. I found them on rent dot com and got a hundred dollar gift card for renting here. Good luck.

I don't know if you've accepted the position, but I would strongly advise against working at any Kaiser facility. Good luck to you.

I worked at Kaiser in San Diego as an ER traveler for 6 months and didn't have any problems.... I think it really depends on the facility, but to generalize ALL Kaiser facilities as bad is not accurate...
