Hi, I'm new to the site, thought I'd say hello to my fellow travelers and ask you all a few traveling questions concerning housing.

I'm just finishing my first assignment and planning on taking an assignment at OHSU in Portland, OR starting in June. I've decided to take the subsidy and find my own housing for the summer because I figure I will be able to save more money that way. Problem is that its hard to find nice furnished private apts. without paying too much. Any suggestions? If anyone has traveled in Prtland area and can recommend a place that would be great. Also wondering about OHSU, good place to work? bad place to work? any info would help, thanks.
